Andrea's grandmother, Diana, started the business in 1985 as Diana's Boarding Home and in 2021 Diana retired. Andrea purchased one of Diana's facilities from her and formed Annie's House. Andrea has been in the business since 2009 and in management since 2015.
Diana originally began the business in 1985 out of her home before announcing her retirement in 2021. Due to her love for the residents, she couldn't quite leave and in 2022 came back as an assistant and volunteer.
Charlotte took over a supervisor position in January of 2024 after working as a Personal Care Aide since 2021. Charlotte is in charge of all our Medical and Psychiatric needs.
Ruth began her career in 2016 with Diana's Boarding Home prior to us becoming Annie's house. She manages appointments and keeps track of client funds.
Nancy is Andrea's grandma and decided to join our team in January of 2022. Nancy retired from her accounting job of twenty-five years to work part-time at Annie's. Her need became much more than part-time, and she joined us full time wearing several hats. Nancy's primary roll is in the financial department.
Bailey is our therapy dog that moved into the facility in May of 2021. She is a sweet, loving Australian Shepard/Husky mix. Bailey provides support to each of the residents throughout their time at the facility and welcomes everyone that comes into our home.
Cooper is another people loving canine that started visiting in August of 2023. Cooper was originally a foster dog that our owner, Andrea, took in. However, the residents & staff fell in love with him and he was adopted. Although Cooper doesn't live at the facility full time he can often be found visiting anytime Andrea is away from home or present at the facility.

Yes! We are a 40 bed facility and all 40 beds are private. However, our bathrooms are shared. We have eight female restrooms and eight male restrooms.
Our residents have the opportunity to attend weekly outings into the community with our staff. This includes trips to the store and out to eat. We also go local places and least once a quarter sometimes monthly that include trips to the zoo; conservation areas; six flags; family fun centers; bowling; etc. Once a year we take resident camping, to Branson, and usually on a trip that involves going out of state when guardians allow it. In the past we have travelled to New York City, Florida, California, and Tennessee.
We are dual licensed through both Department of Mental Health and Department of Health and Senior Services. We house male and female residents ages 21 and older with mental/physical disabilities. All residents must have some sort of income rather it be SS/SSI and insurance upon admission.
